On Tuesday we offered up a company video which provided step by step instructions and easy setup options for the free Genie application.

Some don’t know however that there are two versions of this application. One Classic (which we saw Tuesday) and Enhanced. But what’s the difference?

Well – plenty. True both find the best deals on the internet. The Enhanced version of Genie 4.0 however, adds some really cool features that make finding those deals a whole lot easier. The biggest advantage in the Enhanced version of MyShoppingGenie is what’s known as “slice technology”.

In simple terms “slice technology” is a shortcut, which goes out and fetches a preview of a live web page without opening up a new browser window. By hovering the mouse over the thumbnails found, it’s simpler and faster than ever to research products and prices without leaving your favorite search engine of choice.

Once that bargain is found, simply select “go” and the Genie opens up the very page you’ve selected to research further or purchase the product of interest.
